Iranian and Yemeni aviation authorities have signed a memorandum of understanding on air transport cooperation, IRNA wrote on Sunday citing a report released by Almayadeen TV Channel. The document was signed in Tehran on Saturday between the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority (CAMA) of Yemen and Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization (CAO).The MoU enables flag carrier Yemen Airways as well as the Iranian airline Mahan Air to establish 14 flights per week between the two countries. Presently, there is no direct flight between Iran and Yemen.
