The navy's 33rd fleet, comprised of the Bandar Abbas support vessel and the Naqdi warship, docked in the Port of Jakarta, Indonesia on Friday, Fars news agency reported. The fleet set sail for the high seas in late January on a mission to protect the security of international shipping lanes mainly for Iranian commercial ships and tankers. The staff of the Iranian Embassy in Jakarta, the Iranian military attachés based in the Indonesian capital and the South Asian country's military officials attended the ceremony held to welcome the fleet.
