Tabriz-Yerevan Flights Launched

ASA Jet airline company has launched direct flights between Tabriz in northeastern Iran and Armenia’s capital Yerevan.
The announcement was made by Director General of Iranian East Azarbaijan Province Airports Ramin Azari while talking to reporters on Tuesday, Mehr News Agency reported. 
He noted that with the launch of this flight, the number of foreign flights from Tabriz airport has increased to five.
“Besides the new flight, international flights from this airport are operated to Ataturk and Sabiha airports in Istanbul, Adana in Turkey and Najaf in Iraq," he said. 
Shahid Madani International Airport is located in Tabriz.
