Ghadir Petrochemical Company in Mahshahr, Khuzestan Province, has registered a record by increasing the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) by 25% in the first half of the current Iranian year (March-September) compared with the same period of last year.
The complex produced 73,200 tons of PVC during the six-month period, Energy Today website reported.
The company's feedstock is chlorine and ethylene. Ethylene is supplied via pipeline in western Iran and chlorine is supplied by Arvand Petrochemical Company.
