A domestic knowledge-based company has developed a wireless sensor network (WSN) that helps increase the efficiency of poultry farms and greenhouses, and minimizes unwanted losses.
Nafis Pardazeshgar Danesh Company (also known as NAPADA) is a knowledge-based enterprise that has responded to the technological needs of these fields by undertaking research and development, the news portal of Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology reported.
Aghil Kashir, the company’s CEO, emphasized that the Alertis wireless sensor network can be used in all kinds of industrial centers, especially poultry farms and greenhouses, with a sensing area of over 1 kilometer.
Poultry owners need to constantly check and control various parameters such as temperature and weather conditions. The use of smart system provides real-time information about the poultry farm or greenhouse.
