Iron Ore Pellet Output Rises 21% in Q1 

New data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association show that iron ore pellet output of major steel mills stood at 11.35 million tons during the first three months of the current fiscal year (March 21-June 21), registering a growth rate of 21% compared with the same period of last year.
Golgohar Steel Company was the largest producer with 3.33 million tons. Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company came next with 1.86 million tons. It was followed by Khorasan Steel Company with 1.32 million tons, Chadormalu with 1.18 million tons, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 1.1 million tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 1.08 million tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 953,090 tons, SIMIDCO with 391,573 tons and Sabanour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 132,713 tons.
