Synthetic Rubber Output to Triple in Asalouyeh

To complete the value-added chain in Sadaf Petrochemical Company in Asalouyeh, Bushehr Province, an emulsion-styrene butadiene rubber (ESBR) unit is being constructed in the company, the managing director of the company said.
“The unit’s completion has registered 75% progress and will help triple the production capacity of the plant’s main product, ESBR,” Mojtaba Fallah Khorsand was also quoted as saying by the Oil Ministry’s news service.
The unit will have a capacity of 136,000 tons per year, half of which will be exported, he added.
