After crossing the critical 1.6 million points a session before, the main gauge of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, pulled back on Wednesday.
The TEDPIX shed 11,046.23 points or 0.69% and ended trading week at 1,594,977.
The TSE’s equal-weighted index slipped more than 1.2% amid mounting sell-side pressure for most small caps.
Retail trade dropped 25% on the session before to reach 57.8 trillion rials ($192 million).
