Iran’s trade with its leading commercial partner, China, reached $3.86 billion in the first three months of 2022, registering an 18.2% growth compared with the year before.
Latest data released by China’s General Administration of Customs also show Iran’s exports totaled $1.93 billion during the three-month period, indicating a 30.5% year-on-year increase.
In return, China exported $1.93 billion worth of commodities to Iran, registering an 8% YOY decrease.
Bilateral trade hit $1.32 billion in March 2022.
