Iran’s trade with China hit 8.88 million tons worth $8.46 billion in the fourth quarter of last fiscal year (Dec. 22, 2021-March 20), registering a 24% and 55% year-on-year growth in weight and value respectively, according to Rouhollah Latifi, the spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
Exports stood at 7.67 million tons worth $4.12 billion, registering a 24% and 58% YOY growth in weight and value, respectively.
Imports hit 1.2 million tons worth $4.34 billion, registering a 27% and 53% YOY growth in weight and value, respectively, IRIB News reported.
