Trade between Iran and the Economic Cooperation Organization’s 11 member states stood at 29.1 million tons worth $15.11 billion during the 11 months to Feb. 19, data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
Turkey was Iran’s main trade partner with 18.78 million tons worth $10.31 billion. It was followed by Afghanistan with 3.86 million tons worth $1.67 billion and Pakistan with 2.91 million tons worth $1.38 billion.
Iran’s exports stood at 25.03 million tons worth $9.87 billion during the period.
Turkey with 15.3 million tons worth $5.61 billion, Afghanistan with 3.85 million tons worth $1.66 billion and Pakistan with 2.63 million tons worth $1.13 million were the top export destinations.
