Tehran-Baku Flights Resume After 2 Years

The first Tehran-Baku weekly flight after two years of hiatus departed from Imam Khomeini International Airport on March 7 for Heydar Aliyev International Airport, according to the latest announcement by IranAir.
The flights are operated every Monday from Imam Khomeini International Airport at 2 p.m. and arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 3:55 p.m. (local time).
The return flight departs at 4:55 p.m. and arrives in Tehran at 5:55 p.m., IRNA reported.
Tehran-Baku flights were halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 
Iran is Azerbaijan's biggest trade partner among the Persian Gulf countries, according to the Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.
