Housing Utilities Inflation at 26.9%

The average goods and services Consumer Price Index of “housing and utilities (water, electricity, natural gas and other fuels)” in the 12-month period ending Feb. 19 increased by 26.9% compared with the corresponding period of the year before.
The CPI of the group stood at 269.8 in the month to Feb. 19, indicating a 0.5% rise compared with the month before. 
The group’s CPI index, which has the biggest impact on the total inflation rate with a coefficient of 35.5%, registered a year-on-year increase of 28.5%.
