The average goods and services Consumer Price Index in the 12-month period ending Feb. 19, which marks the end of the 11th month of the current Iranian year increased by 54.2% compared with last year’s corresponding period.
Latest data on consumer inflation released by the Statistical Center of Iran show the CPI of the group, with a coefficient of 26.64%, stood at 531.8 in the month to Feb. 19, indicating a 3.9% increase compared with the previous month — the highest among 12 groups of goods and services surveyed by SCI on a monthly basis.
The index registered a year-on-year increase of 40.9%.
