State-owned Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) will import a total of 1.3m tons of crude from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates worth 1.187 billion by the end of this year, UNB reported. BPC will buy 700,000 tons of Arabian light crude oil from Saudi Aramco at a cost of $629m and 600,000 tons of Murban crude oil from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for another $564m.
