23% Rise in Bushehr Port Throughput

A total of 325 million tons of oil and non-oil goods were loaded and unloaded in Bushehr Port during the current Iranian year’s first nine months (March 21-Dec. 21), registering a 23% rise compared with the similar period of last year, according to the director general of Bushehr Province’s Ports and Maritime Organization. 
“Close to 2.13 million tons of the overall sum were non-oil gods and the remaining 1.12 million tons were oil products,” Siavash Arjomandzadeh was also quoted as saying by IRNA. 
The official noted that container throughput during the period under review amounted to 30,163 TEUs.
