‘Hotels, Restaurants’ Registers Highest YOY Inflation

The Consumer Price Index of “hotels and restaurants” in the ninth month of the current Iranian year (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) stood at 413.3, indicating a 60.1% increase compared with last year’s corresponding period — the highest year-on-year rise among 12 groups of goods and services reviewed by the Statistical Center of Iran on a monthly basis.
The index saw a 2% rise compared with the month before. 
The “hotels and restaurant” group, with a coefficient of 1.44%, registered an annualized inflation of 58.2%.
