Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete sent a message to President Hassan Rouhani congratulating him and the Iranian nation on the occasion of the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Fars news agency reported on Saturday. In his message, Kikwete said the cordial relations between the Iranian and Tanzanian people are rooted in "strong historical bonds" between the two nations, which pave the way for enhancing "brotherly" relations. He also expressed hope for increased cooperation in various areas, including transportation, trade, investment, technology, oil, gas and communications.
