President Hassan Rouhani on Monday sent a message to Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Saud congratulating the people and government of the Arab country on the occasion of the Saudi National Day. Rouhani expressed hope that “brotherly cooperation” between Tehran and Riyadh will be increased in view of close religious, cultural, and historical similarities between the two countries. He also wished success and well-being for King Abdullah and the Saudi nation.
The Saudi National Day is celebrated in Saudi Arabia on every 23 September.
