After declining three consecutive sessions, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, closed in positive territory on Monday.
Demand for large caps pushed up the benchmark by 8,989 points or 0.8% to end trade at 1,150,215. The TSE’s equal-weighted index was down 0.24%, indicating the sluggish performance of penny stocks.
On Monday, about 6.46 billion shares worth 47.48 trillion rials ($197.87 million) changed hands at TSE.
