Knowledge-Based Co Produces Lightweight Composite Cylinders

The knowledge-based Ati Iranian Composite Company has started manufacturing composite oxygen cylinders that weigh less and withstand higher gas pressure compared to the usual metal cylinders.
“Our cylinders can endure high gas pressure and are lightweight. Tech progress has made transport easier and they can be used with greater ease. The cylinders are used in the medical sector for respiratory services including those with Covid-19,” managing director of the company said.
“The cylinders are also used in cars as compressed natural gas cylinders,” Energy Today quoted Hamidreza Salehi as saying.
Cylinders manufactured by Ati Composite are cheaper than their foreign peers, he added.
“The company produces polymer products for the industrial and medical sectors," Salehi said. While oxygen and CNG cylinders are our main products, we also make other items for the key oil and gas industries. Energy giants involved in the South Pars Gas Field are among our clients.”
