Iran's flag carrier aniline, IranAir, will resume roundtrip Tehran-Cologne flights as of Oct. 30.
The airline will offer weekly flights to the western German city of Cologne on Fridays; the aircraft will depart from Imam Khomeini International Airport at 05:40 p.m. and the return flight will leave Cologne on the same day at 10:30 p.m. local time, IRNA reported.

The Iranian airline is currently operating weekly flights to three German cities, namely Frankfurt, Cologne and Hamburg.
IranAir operated 347 international flights during the fifth month of the current Iranian year (July 22-Aug. 21), to post a considerable growth of 64% after months of decline due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The airline transported 14,044 passengers on the international front during the period, registering a 30% rise compared with the preceding month, Fars News Agency reported.
The flag carrier transferred a total of 191,555 passengers during the one-month period, to post a 37% increase compared with the month before.
Iran Air Cargo, the company's division specialized in transporting cargo, carried 2.2 million tons of goods during the month under review on both domestic and international routes, registering a 26% increase compared with the preceding month.
