With the aim of developing power generation, approximately 2.3 billion cubic meters of associate petroleum gas has been harnessed from Sirri Island oilfields in the Persian Gulf for power plants in the southern regions.
Shahsavar Arghash, managing director of Iranian Offshore Oil Company, a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company, made the statement at the 16th International Kish Energy Exhibition (Kish ENEX 2020) on Wednesday in Kish Island, ILNA reported.
