UNIDO, Iran’s ITO Extending Help to Startups

UNIDO experts met with Iran IT Organization officials in Tehran on Sunday, discussing ways to support Iranian startups and technology firms.
ITO’s website reports that the meeting is part of efforts implemented by the state organization affiliated to the Information and Communications Technology Ministry to pave the way for Iranian startups growth. In addition to startups, the initiative will also extend support to small-and medium-sized enterprises active in the field of ICTs.
During the meeting, representatives of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization met with managers of several startups, including Basalam, Faranesh and Ahoog.
