Iran Computer and Video Game Foundation and 11 local companies are to participate in French-American business convention Game Connection. Game Connection is an international marketplace to be held in Paris Nov. 1 to 3 where over 2,700 developers, publishers, distributors and service providers are coming to find new partners and clients. According to the official website of the local Game Foundation, Didema, Sourena Games, Paeezan Studio, Black Cube, Raspina, Anashid Games studio, Nova Games, Ava Games, IDEK Co., Studio Light and Motion, and Digital Dragon are to participate in the event. The French event has offered an 84% discount to Iranian developers who want to show their products and all Iranian game developers can benefit from a €2,710 ($3,179) discount, paying €590 ($692) for a booth at the event. The foundation has been able to build closer ties to Game Connection in recent years. Earlier in July, the two sides collaborated in organizing Iran’s first business-to-business video game industry event, the Tehran Game Convention, which was hailed by local game developers as a major step forward.
