Iranian audiobook startup Namlik has launched their website. Accessible on both desktop browser and through smartphones, Namlik's website is devoted to providing curated audio content narrated by a team of professional voice artists. The company also states that it is like an audio Flipboard. The audio startup is part of Avatech Accelerator's second cycle of companies currently going through mentorship. Namlilk received seed funding to get the website off the ground. The site currently hosts curated content, including an article on Bitcoin economy, an encyclopedia program and self-help advice on employment. Namlik allows registered users to save audio programs for later listening and lets one subscribe to monthly shows. It also has a social media element where users can upload their own customized audio files. The company has teamed up with Iranian media companies, such as tech site digiato.com, Jam-e-Jam newspaper and audio blog Mr. Comma, which have also signed up for accounts to promote their content. The site is likely to grow in popularity, as more people buy smartphones and sign up for 3G and 4G Internet.
