Blogfa Goes Offline

Iran's third most visited website, blogfa.com, has gone offline for a few days leaving its millions of users in an utter state of confusion, Webna reported on Saturday.  The latest updated weblog on Blogfa's official roll dates back to May 5. It seems that users have been unable to access the largest Iranian weblog since then. Website managers have released a terse announcement on the homepage, explaining that "due to a needed change in servers the site has been taken down." While apologizing for the inconvenience, the announcement says that many of website's basic hardwares have been damaged and are in need of repairs. The site garnered an estimated 56.9 million hits in the last six months, with the majority of viewers visiting the site via social media. Blogs have fallen out of favor globally in recent years. However, their position in the minds of Iranians remains strong.
