Caspian Oilfield Development Not on NIOC Agenda

Developing oilfields, especially in the Caspian Sea is not on the agenda of the National Iranian Oil Company. Therefore, Khazar Exploration and Production Company as a subsidiary of the NIOC has adopted the same policy, said the managing director of KEPCO.
Ali Osouli referred to the re-imposition of US sanctions on Iran’s oil and banking sector last May, as a key factor undermining efforts of the oil industry, the Oil Ministry news website Shana reported.
