Tehran to Host Startup Week

Attended by fintechs and startups, Tehran is to host a week-long event aiming to bring together the entrepreneur community to create an atmosphere of collaboration and idea sharing, and to provide opportunities to build constructive links and exchange innovative knowledge and experience
The event dubbed Startup Week is slated for early next month; set to open on August 3, reported ITIran.com.
Specialized panels and workshops covering various activities such as keynote lectures by parliament members, university professors, representatives of accelerators and capital funds, as well as related experts make up the bulk of programs during Startup Week. 
The initial segment of the event will be held on August 3 focusing on the startup ecosystem in Iran. The inaugural ceremony for this section will feature special panels dealing with successful business models, startups in small cities, failed startups, firms’ relations with the media and the challenges involved.
