Iran's Colossal University Entrance Exam Concludes

Over one million students competed in the nationwide university entrance exam for the new academic year (starting in September) during a two-day marathon locally known as Konkur which started on June 28. According to statistics released by the National Educational Assessment Organization (Sanjesh Organization), 59.23% of students who sat the exam were women (almost 600,000) and the remaining 40.77% were male.
