A knowledge-based company located in Pardis Technology Park has obtained permits to produce anesthesia machines. CEO of Premier Electro Medical Care Company says his firm has received the necessary permits from the Ministry of Industries and the Ministry of Health, reported Mehr News Agency. Mohammad Reza Kompani adds the design and manufacturing of the anesthesia machine started in 2012. “We can annually produce 250 machines. According to available data, Iranian hospitals need 500 machines on a yearly basis.” Anesthetic machines currently used across the country are imported and cost close to $15,000 a piece. Kompani says the machines produced by his company would firm cost $2,500.
