A local startup has been launched delivering smart home security and alarm systems. Services offered by ‘Smart Hoom’ enable users to monitor their property through a companion app available for download on Café Bazaar (Android) and Sib App (iOS). Smart locks, movement sensors and other monitoring systems can be installed by the company depending on the needs of customers. The system sends alerts to the owner via Internet in case of unauthorized entry or a trespass and can also raise an alarm. The smart locks can be controlled through Smart Hoom’s application. This aspect of the service comes handy when one of the residents is locked out of the property as other residents can unlock the door for the person via the application.
