A new Iranian online market, Eigg Supermarket, has been launched to help users purchase groceries and other items. Operating under the address Eigg.ir, the business offers a wide range of edibles, including snacks, dairy products, food products and fresh bread. According to the business website, home appliances, tools, digital products and sports utilities are also offered by Eigg. Customers can choose to pay online or upon delivery. The business has both Android and iOS applications. In addition to Google Play and Apple’s App Store, Eigg’s app is available for download on the local Android market Café Bazaar and has been downloaded over 1,000 times since its launch. The service is currently available in Tehran. Other online shops such as Sabzaloo.ir and Hyperka.com, which also deliver similar services, are already striving to gain a bigger share of Iran’s online shopping market.
