New Social Media Platform for Online Sales

An Iranian startup has launched a platform integrating social media and e-commerce services. Biziket.com (Business Market) is a sales and auction website which also offers social networking services, Webna.ir reported. Producers, online retailers and customers can register with the service, create ‘groups’ and in addition to purchasing or selling goods find friends and coworkers.  The website helps professionals to find peers active in the same field, build working ties with them or monitor their activities. Businesses can promote their goods and services through posts on the website and learn what customers think of their business via comments. The website seemingly also helps in strengthening customer-business relations. Furthermore, the available goods are listed under various categories on the website enabling customers to find what they want with a few clicks.  Biziket also provides businesses with periodic analysis of their activities. This is not the first time a domestic platform provides users with online sales and other services, and websites like Esam.ir and Sheypoor.com are popular with Iranians. However the social networking aspect of Biziket is quite new.
