Unruly Internet Companies Warned

The new communications and information technology minister has once again warned Internet providers not to overcharge subscribers. “People are unhappy with Internet providers and the way they deliver traffic services and overcharge subscribers,” Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi was quoted by ISNA as saying . He reiterated that the ministry should impose effective supervision on the Internet companies in the interest of the people.  According to the minister, the names of Internet providers not living up to their commitments will be published this week. During the past couple of months, an increasing number of complaints have been issued by Internet subscribers over inconsistencies between the packages they have ordered and the services they have received.
