Mobile Virtual Network Operator, NeginTel, working with Tabriz-based football club Tractor Sazi has released its new AzarTel-branded SIM Cards in the northwestern city. The company, which had recently announced that it would start offering the mobile phone SIMs to supporters of the Azeri-majority city, has got clearance from the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) of Iran, according to a press release from the firm. The new numbering system for AzarTel’s SIMs now starts with 099914, which is a region specific telephone code for this operator. NeginTel’s board of directors was present at the event in the city, as well as the managing board from Tractor Sazi football club. Earlier in June, NeginTel released its first MVNO SIM under the brand name ApTel, in a first test phase for the company. Those lines begin with 09991, according to the firm. New subscribers can buy SIM cards up to the value of 990 million rials ($24,000) on the firm’s website. Other SIM cards at much lower prices are also available.
