Shahid Beheshti University launched a startup accelerator summer camp on July 2 in Tehran where young businesses can participate in a wide range of programs. During the five-day event, the university offers short courses on different topics from professional ethics to content marketing and how to evaluate startups, WEBNA reported. Participants will also learn about the legal rights and boundaries of businesses and how to operate in the stock market, in addition to courses on understanding local and international banking and insurance systems. Entry fee for the event is 1.2 million rials ($32). Students at Shahid Beheshti University get a 50% discount. The university is one of the top centers of higher learning in Iran, with thousands of graduates passing out over the years and creating some of Iran’s promising companies.
