The third largest mobile operator and the country’s first 3G network, RighTel, said Wednesday it has come up with new packages for those who use its services while travelling.
The company currently provides 4G roaming services in more than 30 countries and its 3G is available in more than 100 nations, its website says.
Among the countries cooperating with Rightel are Azerbaijan, UAE, Turkey, Tajikistan, Greece, as well as the US, UK, Spain and Italy.
Three packages have been provided for contract and pay-as-you-go subscribers, all of which can be used within a one-week period.
The company offers a 50-megabyte roaming package for 260,000 rials ($6.9); another limited to 10 minutes of calls to Iran and 10 texts at 360,000 rials ($9); the third package offers 100 megabytes, 20 minutes of voice calls and 20 texts to Iran priced at 1,130,000 rials ($30).
The move is in line with catching up with the two other big networks, MTN-Irancell and MCI (Hamrah e-Avval) in providing network-based services overseas.
