The First Iranian Congress on Industrial Applications of Advanced Materials Manufacturing will be hosted by Iran University of Science and Technology in Tehran from May 24 to 26. In addition to academia, head of Majlis Education Commission Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi and head of SAIPA Research and Development Department, Ali Reza Mosadeghi, will be present at the event, Mehr News Agency reported. SAIPA is Iran’s second largest automaker. Advanced materials refer to all new materials and modifications to existing materials to obtain superior performance in one or more characteristics that are critical in the automotive, transportation, medical device and pharmaceutical industries. They can also exhibit completely novel properties.
