Chinese smartphone producer Huawei has joined hands with Iran’s first (and still largest) general e-retailer platform, Digikala and is offering special sales packages for its latest flagship smartphones, P10 and P10+. The P10 and P10+ continue the

company’s push to dominate the smartphone camera market and feature a refined version of the company’s “designed by Leica” dual-camera setup seen on their predecessor. This, plus a few design and hardware improvements, makes the P10 look like it could be to some degree a rival to Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy S8 and the LG G6.

Huawei is offering P10’s special sales package for 21.2 million rials ($565) which includes a smart watch and its local retail price is 4.7 million rials ($125).

This is while Samsung Galaxy S8 is sold for 28 million rials ($746) and LG G6 for 24.7 million rials ($658). Huawei’s new move is the second instance of smartphone producers using Iranian online retail services for promoting their products. Earlier, four local online shops — DigiKala, HamahangIT, Parsamtel and MicroTel — offered the presale packages of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.
