Tehran Tech Show in Late May

Tehran will host the Sixth International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (INOTEX 2017) in May. Organizers say the event is scheduled for May 23-26 at Tehran’s International Fairgrounds in the north of the capital, ISNA reported on April 16. Similar to the previous rounds, the main categories to be featured this year are communications and information technology, mechanical engineering, industrial automation, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, nanotechnology, new and renewable energies, aerospace and media tech. According to the event’s official website, the main goal of INOTEX 2017 is to help establish long-term business ties, including joint research and development projects as well as investment and manufacturing ventures in  science and technology. Last year 82 foreign tech firms from 14 countries took part, with Russia, Greece and Belarus having special pavilions.
