Startup Accelerator Launched in Isfahan

The first startup accelerator center focused on Information and Communication Technology was inaugurated in Isfahan’s Science and Technology Town. 
The accelerator known as Axell was officially launched last week in the presence of the deputy ICT Minister Nasrollah Jahangard, Mehr News Agency reported. 
It seeks to promote development of technologies, software, games, content, services and applications in a range of areas such as tourism, Internet of Things, virtual and augmented reality. 
The center assists budding startup by providing financial resources, mentorship, and support to entrepreneurial teams. It hosts competitions in which ideas from different teams are evaluated; the top picks enter the centers acceleration cycles. 
In terms of the office space, the center meets international standards. At this point Axell is ready to support ten startup teams. 
Axell is supported by Hamrah Vas which is a knowledge-based company specializing in mobile Value Added Services and solutions.
