Iran’s Higher Council for Science and Technology is currently holding a joint meeting with the Austrian Institute of Technology in Tehran for cooperation in scientific and technological fields.
Iran’s High Council for Science and Technology held the meeting with managers of AIT’s Innovation and Technology Foresight Department on November 8-13, Mehr News Agency reported.
The institute is Austria’s largest research and technology organization. According to the institute’s website, AIT promotes research and technological development by supporting innovations for the next generation of infrastructure-related technologies in the fields of health and environment, energy, mobility and digital safety and security.
The technological research areas are supplemented by competence in the field of innovative systems.
The Austrian delegation will also pay a visit to the Fourth International Rab-e Rashidi Exhibition and Excellence Awards for High-Tech and New Technologies scheduled for November 10-13 in Tabriz, as well as the city’s technological infrastructure.
Visits to Automotive Industrial Technology Park in Tabriz, Foreign Investment Town and Electronics Technology Development Center are also on the itinerary of the Austrian delegation.
