The latest edition of Iran’s International Exhibition of Electronics, Computer and E-Commerce (ELECOMP) will be held from December 15 to 18 at Tehran’s International Fairground. Nasser Ali Sa’adat, the head of Iran’s ICT Guild Organization, on October 31 announced that although registration for the exhibition is continuing, China, South Korea and Taiwan have already signed up. Sa’adat added that in the past two days, 150 Iranian companies have registered to showcase their products and services at the event. The previous round of ELECOMP hosted 420 local and foreign firms that presented their latest achievements, products and services in the realm of information technology and telecommunications. Fifty state-affiliated organizations were present at the ELECOMP 2015 and, according to Sa’adat, a more significant presence has been targeted in the upcoming event.
