Iran, Azerbaijan Explore Telecoms Cooperation

Azerbaijan and Iran explored ways of developing cooperation in the field of communications, when Azerbaijan’s Minister of Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade met his Iranian counterpart and co-chairman of Azerbaijan-Iran State Commission on Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Spheres, Mahmoud Vaezi. Guluzade spoke about works carried out in the fields of communications and information technologies following their last meeting.  The minister said “Bakutel” International Technologies Exhibition-Conference was a successful platform for Iranian IT companies, Azerbaijan’s state news agency Azertac reported. The Iranian minister applauded expansion of relations in different fields. He said bilateral cooperation has opened opportunities for supporting both the countries in international organizations.  Vaezi stressed the importance of widening the use of potential opportunities.
