Iran, Belarus to Sign Scientific Agreement

Iran and Belarus are to sign an agreement on technological, scientific and educational cooperation within the framework of a commission meeting held recently in Minsk on the issue earlier this week. The signing ceremony will be held in the next few days during the visit of an Iranian delegation led by Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Farhadi to Belarus, IRNA reported Iran's Embassy in Belarus reported on Saturday that Tehran and Minsk are determined to develop technological cooperation. Members of Iranian and Belarusian delegations are due to review bilateral technological relations based on a roadmap agreed by the two on May 4 in the Belarusian capital. According to the roadmap, the two sides agreed to invest $250 million on the deal, with $75 million already placed by the two sides.
