1st Nano Shipment to S. Korea

Iran has exported a nano cargo to South Korea, which is the first-ever such shipment after the removal of nuclear-related sanctions on January 16, Iran's vice president for science and technology said.
"We should make use of the opportunity for interaction with other countries," Sorena Sattari added on Tuesday during his visit to Iranian Space Agency, outside the city of Isfahan.
The official described the development as an international opportunity, urging companies and researches to grasp it with full speed, Mehr News Agency reported.
The report did not name the products included in the nano cargo.  Sattari stressed the importance of making the private sector involved in all nano fields.
"Iran has improved its ranking in the field of nanotechnology in the world from seventh to sixth," he said.
The country has also made great efforts in recent months to develop the industry as a key area of non-oil economic growth, given the presence of a large number of qualified scientists.
