The Fourth Laboratory Equipment & Chemicals Exhibition, known as Iran Lab 2016, will display laboratory equipment made by domestic and foreign companies.
Sorena Sattari, presidential deputy for science and technology, made the announcement in his first press conference after the New Year holidays.
The official noted that the exhibition, which will be held in Tehran's International Permanent Fairground from April 24-27, seeks to promote domestic tech companies and local manufacturers will display 10,000 lab equipment in the exhibition.
“We hope to bring a high volume of exchange of laboratory equipment among companies and customers to contribute to the financial cycle of the whole industry; delegations from outside the country will visit the exhibitions," he said.
"Apart from domestic companies, we will have Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan as definite contributors to the exhibition.”
Sattari also pointed to the surge in the hi-tech companies’ odds in the international arena, thanks to the impact of JCPOA and removal of sanctions.
The exhibition seeks to provide an opportunity for domestic manufacturers and producers to promote their products and encourage universities, companies, research centers and institutes that are seeking to boost the quality of laboratory equipment and chemicals. More than 300 companies had attended the 2015 edition of the event. They exhibited more than 8,000 products.
Iran Lab offers a great opportunity for all companies, universities and research centers to negotiate with manufacturers directly to strike business agreements.
The exhibition is also a unique opportunity for international distributors, traders and all those who are active in this sector to interact with Iranian companies and establish new connections.
