Leading infant product maker Firooz Baby Hygenic Company has launched a new website for parents on how to take care of their babies and infants.
The website called Koodak Firooz is a first from a local children's product maker to offer such advice.
The domain FiroozBaby.com, originally reported by Webna, aims to be the one-stop-shop for baby related queries and is backed up by medical practitioners according to the press release of the company.
It is not the first such site in the country, as other major competitors, including ninisite.ir, have been active in the field for the past five years. However, it is the first company to back a website of this kind.
The leading site for baby products continues to control the conversation on parenting being placed at 181 most popular websites in Iran, as opposed to 67,000 for the new Firooz website, according to Similarweb.
Other popular children's sites in Iran include Mamisite.com, Irnini.com, niniland.com and Kocholo.org to name a few.
Firooz's entry into this market follows similar business launches by foreign companies aiming to learn more about the spending habits and cultural attitudes of parents. Other foreign companies in this area include mumsnet.co.uk that spearheaded the formula back in the early 2000s.
The company began operations in 1974 in partnership with Johnson & Johnson Company of America, as the first company of baby sanitary products in the Middle East.
