ASUS Bringing Latest Handsets

Taiwanese electronics company ASUS has announced its official presence in Iran.
In an event held in Tehran on Feb. 25, the company unveiled five of its latest smartphones for the Iranian market while announcing that it will officially establish its presence in Iran for selling its products via official representations and offering  reliable warranties, Digiato reported.
The models include ZenFone Laser 2, ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone Zoom, ZenFone Go and ZenFone 2 Deluxe.
A company representative detailed the specifications of ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition, which was first announced back in August 2015.
The handset is equipped with a 2.3-GHz Intel Atom quad core Z3580 processor with graphics handled by a Power VR G6430 GPU, 128 GB of storage up to an additional 64 GB via microSD cards and 4 GB of RAM.
The second edition ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition still has a run-of-the-mill 5.5-inch 1080-pixel display, a 3,000-mAh battery, LTE support and only Android Lollipop as its operating system.
As for the camera specs, the smartphone carries a 13-megapixel Pixelmaster rear camera with dual LED real-tone flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with a 80-degree wide-angle lens.
The phones are to be presented with two types of guarantees; one for when a handset needs to be replaced completely. For this, customers would be required to provide all the accessories and the box that the phone first came in. However, for repairs, the accessories and box are not required.
A company official noted that ASUS has been operating in Iran prior to this event. However, it has now decided to broaden its presence in a more official manner. For handset sales, ASUS plans to go for a pricing scheme that will be competitive with other similar phones available on the market.
